About Mishell

Born and raised in Southeast Louisiana, my creative journey began in the vibrant culture of New Orleans. I grew up performing music alongside my father, New Orleans Jazz trumpeter extraordinaire Roy Liberto, in the French Quarter and later spent many years writing, performing, touring and designing my own stage costumes. Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am.

Over the years, life has brought many changes that have shaped both my art and my perspective. Raising my daughter, Harmony Rose, while balancing family, multiple careers, and life's many challenges taught me resilience, faith, and the importance of embracing every opportunity to grow.

In 2021, after surviving a life-threatening battle with COVID-19 that permanently affected my singing voice, I found a new purpose in jewelry making. What began as a creative passion became my full-time calling, allowing me to pour my heart into every handcrafted piece I create.

Today, with the unwavering support of my husband, Matthew, I continue to travel to art shows and create one-of-a-kind electroformed jewelry inspired by nature, spirituality, and the beauty of life's journey. I am proud to be a member of the Louisiana Crafts Guild and grateful to share my work with collectors across the country.

Every piece I make is created with intention and the hope that it finds the person it was meant for. Thank you for supporting my art and allowing me to be part of your story.
